Williams is a perfect 6-0 against Person since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Williams Bulldogs will welcome the Person Rockets at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Williams managed to slip by Northern Guilford the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Williams came up short against Northern Guilford on Wednesday, falling 7-2. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

McKinley Metts and Emerson Tirgrath scored both of Williams' goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Meanwhile, Person had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 5-0 to Roxboro Community last Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Rockets in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost six in a row.

Williams' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Person, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything went Williams' way against Person in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Williams made off with a 7-0 win. Will Williams repeat their success, or does Person have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
