The Wilton Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Norwalk by a score of 55-53. Wilton was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Norwalk apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ryan Luchetta, who scored 17 points. The match was Luchetta's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Henry Roy, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Wilton's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Norwalk, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wilton will take on Darien at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Darien is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Norwalk, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against New Canaan at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Connecticut (New Canaan is ranked 69th, while Norwalk is ranked 68th).
