They had to suffer through a rough 95-11 loss at the hands of Kings Christian. Wonderful College Prep Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-8.
Kings Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Elyas Miro out in front who scored 21 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. The matchup was Miro's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ronnie Roche, who scored 22 points along with 3 steals.
Wonderful College Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Kings Christian, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.
Wonderful College Prep Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Legacy Christian Academy on Tuesday. Legacy Christian Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Kings Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Parlier on Tuesday. Parlier will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 716th, while Kings Christian is ranked 251st).
