The Mountain House Mustangs waltzed into their match Wednesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They claimed a resounding 74-42 victory over Los Banos at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Mountain House has managed all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mountain House to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kyle Luboviski, who scored 15 points. Luboviski also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Thomas Pinn, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Mountain House pushed their record up to 11-6 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Los Banos, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.
Mountain House will square off against Pacheco at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Pacheco is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak. As for Los Banos, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ceres at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Ceres has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 402 points over their last six matchups.
