Minnechaug Regional were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. Everything came up roses for them against Taconic on Friday as the team secured a 43-6 win. That result was just more of the same for Minnechaug Regional, who also won the last time these teams played.
The victory bumped Minnechaug Regional's record up to 3-0. The defeat dropped Taconic's record to 1-2.
Next week Minnechaug Regional take on Northampton/Hopkins Academy at 7:00 PM. Minnechaug Regional will be strutting in after a win while Northampton/Hopkins Academy will be stumbling in from a loss. As for Taconic, they will face off against Chicopee. Neither of those teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable loss.
