Baseball Game Preview: Deming Wildcats vs. Chaparral Lobos

For the second straight game, Deming will face off against Chaparral. The Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lobos at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Deming is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

Deming had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Chaparral on Tuesday. Max Allison made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.
