Marie Philip found their leader in underclassman Stella Ciulla, who scored 24 points along with seven steals. The game was Ciulla's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Martin, who scored five points along with six steals.
Marie Philip pushed their record up to 12-2 with that win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26.25 points. As for Commonwealth, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Marie Philip is on the road again on Friday and play against Oklahoma School for the Deaf at 9:30 a.m. on January 12th.
