Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kingston). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Niskayuna Silver Warriors on Friday, sneaking past 74-72. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since February 5, 2024.

Kingston's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. As for Niskayuna, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season.

Kingston and Niskayuna should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. Kingston (ranked 116th) will meet Pine Bush (ranked 342nd) at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Niskayuna will take on Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 341 places (42 vs. 383).
