The Towanda Knights will square off against the Williamson Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
Towanda's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Troy as they made off with a 6-0 win. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Not much got past Leila Cobb, who gave up just four hits and racked up 17 Ks to keep Troy off the board. Cobb has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
At the plate, Molly Roberts and Brooklyn Evans did most of the damage at the plate: Roberts went 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple, while Evans went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double. Those two runs gave Roberts a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Payton Perry, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Towanda was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Troy only posted a batting average of .120.
Meanwhile, Williamson hadn't done well against Cowanesque Valley recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Warriors walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Indians.
Kenna Thomas made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. Thomas was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
Thomas wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Lexi Smalley, who went 1-for-4 with one run.
Williamson's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Towanda, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2.
Towanda skirted past Williamson 4-2 in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
