DeWitt barely beat Star City the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Dragons were the clear victors by a 13-5 margin over the Bulldogs on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won six matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

DeWitt has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Star City, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

DeWitt didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Drew Central on the 8th. As for Star City, they have also already played their next matchup, a 7-0 defeat against Hamburg on the 8th.
