There's no place like home for the Corydon Central Panthers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Lanesville 67-27 at home. That's another feather in the cap for Corydon Central, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Corydon Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Devon Murphy, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of T-mac Wilkinson, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Lanesville's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jaxson Payne, who scored 9 points. Another player making a difference was Ben Austin, who scored 8 points.
The victory got Corydon Central back to even at 1-1. As for Lanesville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Corydon Central will head out on the road to face off against North Harrison at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lanesville, they will be playing at home against Borden at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
