Declan Noonan posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. He struck out 12 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. He has become a key player for Dawson School: the team is 6-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-7 otherwise.

Noonan's effort led Dawson School over Lyons and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long.
