New Glarus won the last time they faced Johnson Creek and things went their way  on Friday too. The Glarner Knights came out on top against the Bluejays by a score of  8-4.
 Nolan Julseth made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  didn't allow a single  earned run over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  runs.

 In other batting news,  Ethan Colstad was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and one  run. Those  three  RBI gave  him a new career-high.  Landon Stelter was another key player,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  RBI and one  stolen base.
New Glarus has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Johnson Creek, their defeat  ended  a  seven-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 12-6.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Glarus will head out to  square off against Cambridge  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Johnson Creek, they will face off against Williams Bay at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Bluejays are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on  a  six-game losing streak.
