The West Washington Senators lost against the Northeast Dubois Jeeps back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. West Washington took a 47-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Northeast Dubois.
Grant Goller was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with five rebounds and four steals for Northeast Dubois. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Schroering, who scored nine points.
West Washington bumped their record down to 3-5 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Northeast Dubois, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Washington will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Perry Central at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. As for Northeast Dubois, they will square off against South Knox at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
