Grosse Pointe South came out on top against L'Anse Creuse North on Wednesday thanks in part to Drew Hess's efforts. Hess went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run, which was good enough to set a new career-high in RBI.

Hess' strong effort led Grosse Pointe South over L'Anse Creuse North and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Devils are 7-2 against the Crusaders going back to May of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
