Auburn won against Opelika  last Tuesday with ten  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Thursday. The Tigers walked away with  a   10-5  victory over the Bulldogs. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

 Mary Alderson Grace was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-4. Those  three  hits gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news, Auburn let  Daley Alsobrook and  Alivia Harris run wild. Alsobrook  scored a  run while going 2-for-4, while  Harris  went 1-for-5 with one  home run and three  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Laina Rae Sawyer, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
Auburn pushed their record up to 18-7 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Opelika, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 14-13.
