The Pine Grove Panthers lost against the Ashland Blue Devils back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Pine Grove took a 52-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils.
Ashland's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Destiny Stewart, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of HarveyAnna Holloway, who scored 11 points.
Pine Grove's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Ashland, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pine Grove and the Cardinals will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Jumpertown is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Ashland, they will be playing at home against the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
