Softball Recap: White Hall Snags Ninth Victory in Last 11 Games

White Hall won against El Dorado last Friday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Bulldogs didn't even let the Hot Springs Trojans on the board, marking the Bulldogs' second-straight 12-0 shutout. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

Taylor Irvin was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Maycey Langston, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

White Hall always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .607. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March.

White Hall has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Hot Springs, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. White Hall will face off against rival Lakeside at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hot Springs is set to challenge their familiar foe Lake Hamilton at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
