The Racine Park Panthers posted their biggest victory yet this season on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Racine Lutheran 54-14 at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Racine Park.
Racine Park found their leader in underclassman Addison Betker, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Betker has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jenna Quirk, who scored eight points along with three steals and two blocks.
The win got Racine Park back to even at 8-8. As for Racine Lutheran, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Racine Park will take on Indian Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Racine Lutheran, Racine Lutheran and St. Thomas More will face off at 4:00 p.m. on January 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. St. Thomas More presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Racine Lutheran in Wisconsin (St. Thomas More is ranked 113th, while Racine Lutheran is ranked 426th).
