The Omaha South Packers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their sixth straight loss. They took a 54-39 bruising from Columbus. While losing is never fun, Omaha South can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 209th, while Columbus is ranked 104th).
Despite the loss, Omaha South still got an impressive performance from Freda Moore, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Aaliyah Foster, who scored eight points along with three steals.
