The Bayfield Wolverines won the last time they faced the Telluride Miners, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Bayfield skirted past Telluride 33-31.
Bayfield was led to victory by Lily Muir and Genesis Barrera. Muir scored 13 points along with three steals, while Barrera scored 14 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Muir has scored all season.
Bayfield now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Telluride, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Bayfield will head out on the road to face off against Del Norte at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Telluride will take on Steamboat Springs in a holiday battle at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at. Steamboat Springs is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
