The Brushton-Moira Panthers lost against the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Brushton-Moira was dealt a 69-27 defeat at the hands of the Lumberjacks. Brushton-Moira has struggled against the Lumberjacks recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Thomas Peterson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Tupper Lake, scoring 29 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Peterson hasn't dropped below four steals for five straight games. Michael Corneau was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Brushton-Moira's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Tupper Lake, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with that win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.
Brushton-Moira does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tupper Lake won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Larries at 7:15 p.m. on January 31st. St. Lawrence Central is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
