The Governor Livingston Highlanders took care of business in their home opener on Thursday. They secured a 45-41 W over Dayton. This was payback for Governor Livingston, who suffered a 57-52 loss the last time these two teams met.
Dayton lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jj Perez, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Kyle Rosenstock, who scored ten points.
Governor Livingston's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Dayton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Governor Livingston will head out on the road to face off against Brearley at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Dayton will be home for the holidays to greet Johnson at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
