Elsinore is 0-10 against Temescal Canyon since April of 2016 but things could change on Wednesday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Titans at 6:00 p.m. This will be Elsinore's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
Elsinore is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest win since March 22, 2024 on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over El Camino. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Breann Lipold made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (and only one walk). Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jaycee Hullar, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Temescal Canyon). Their pitcher stepped up to hand San Jacinto a 15-0 shutout last Friday. The win continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won seven in a row.
Temescal Canyon also got a great performance from JESSENIA MOORE as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. MOORE also allowed three hits, marking her first of the season.
At the plate, NATALIE CASTRO was a standout: she fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was MAKAILA RIGGS, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
Temescal Canyon always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as San Jacinto only posted an OBP of .211.
Elsinore's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Temescal Canyon, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. Elsinore hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Temescal Canyon struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1.1 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Elsinore might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Temescal Canyon in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
