It was a good run, but the Chenango Forks Blue Devils unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 75-45 loss at the hands of Owego Free Academy. Chenango Forks lost against Owego Free Academy in their previous head to head back in March, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 52-33 score last time.
Several Blue Devils players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Walker Paske, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Keegan Watson, who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds.
Chenango Forks' defeat dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Owego Free Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chenango Forks will take on Norwich at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Owego Free Academy, they will be playing at home against Windsor Central at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
