Leading Lampeter-Strasburg to victory were Yasin Abdi and Chase Smucker. Abdi scored 23 points along with five assists, while Smucker scored 21 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Abdi has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Emory Fluer, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Lampeter-Strasburg has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Lancaster Catholic, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
Lampeter-Strasburg will be playing at home against Cedar Crest at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar Crest has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 549 points over their last eight games. As for Lancaster Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against Eastern Lebanon County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Eastern Lebanon County's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Lancaster Catholic has been banged up by ten consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
