The Northern Lebanon Vikings will square off against the Pequea Valley Braves at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. Northern Lebanon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8  runs per game  this season.
Northern Lebanon came out on top against Lancaster Catholic  on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Vikings walked away with  a   6-1  win over the Crusaders. The  victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now won five in a row.
 Adrian Gonzalez made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits. Gonzalez was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-2 with two  runs.

 In other batting news,  Owen Fahringer was  excellent,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI. Those  three  hits gave  him a new career-high.  Connor Stoltz was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
Meanwhile, Pequea Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Columbia on Monday and fell  3-2.
 Pequea Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Sammy Chappell, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run.
 Pequea Valley's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Northern Lebanon, their win bumped their record up to 15-2.
Pequea Valley's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Northern Lebanon has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .434. It's a different story for Pequea Valley, though, as  they've  only  averaged .360. Will they be able to contain Northern Lebanon's hitters?
 Northern Lebanon beat Pequea Valley 5-0  in their previous matchup  on April 14th. Will the Vikings repeat their success,  or do  the Braves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
