The  matchup was  Layne's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Malachi Brown, who  posted ten  points and six  boards.
Farragut's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Roane County, they moved to 10-2 with that  defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
 Farragut didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  69-20  victory against Sequoyah on the 28th.
