Liberty Baptist Academy has gone a perfect 7-0 against Sandy Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Knights are taking a road trip to face off against the Sidewinders at 1:00 p.m. Liberty Baptist Academy knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Sandy Valley likes a good challenge.
Liberty Baptist Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 23-6 margin over Spring Mountain on Friday. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Angelo Tatonetti and Bryce Miano made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Tatonetti pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Miano pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. At bat, Tatonetti went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run, while Miano got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jadon Noriega, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Dominic Giannini, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Liberty Baptist Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Sandy Valley can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Beatty, sneaking past 5-3.
Sandy Valley now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Liberty Baptist Academy, their record now sits at 11-4.
Liberty Baptist Academy took their victory against Sandy Valley in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 16-1 score. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Sidewinders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
