St. Charles' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaden Bazil, who scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bazil has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tajir Webster, who scored 15 points.
Westlake is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for St. Charles, their victory bumped their record up to 17-3.
Wednesday's contest will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Canty and Shamir Taylor. Canty has been dynamite this season: he has averaged 11.3 points, 1.5 steals, and 5.2 rebounds. For his part, Taylor has averaged 16 points, 1.7 steals, and 6.8 rebounds.
