The C.H. Yoe Yoemen's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 39-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rogers. C.H. Yoe was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Rogers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Several Yoemen players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mykayla Scott, who scored seven points. Aubree Brashear was another key contributor, scoring six points.
C.H. Yoe has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-12 record this season. As for Rogers, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. C.H. Yoe will challenge Lorena at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Lorena will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. As for Rogers, they will head out on the road to face off against Little River Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Little River Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Rogers in Texas (Little River Academy is ranked 160th, while Rogers is ranked 523rd).
