Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Joshua Daniel and Heze Kent Lead Brunswick to Victory

Brunswick posted their biggest win since November 26, 2024 on Monday. Everything went their way against the Liberty County Panthers as the Brunswick Pirates made off with a 68-45 victory. With the Pirates ahead 39-17 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Brunswick was led to victory by Heze Kent and Joshua Daniel. Kent dropped a double-double on 18 points and 17 rebounds, while Daniel went 7 of 12 on his way to 20 points and six rebounds. Kent's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nasir Poole, who posted 11 points and six assists.

Brunswick smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

Brunswick's record is now 11-1. As for Liberty County, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Brunswick didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-55 win against Beach on the 4th. As for Liberty County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 88-35 loss against Bradwell Institute on the 4th.
