The Baker Bobcats lost against the Rowe-Clark Masai Lions back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Baker fell 25-15 to Rowe-Clark. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Baker has scored all season.
Baker lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Serenity Curry, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds. That was a full 46.7% of Baker's points, marking the tenth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Destiny Davis, who scored four points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Baker has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Rowe-Clark, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
Baker will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Noble Street College Prep at 10:30 a.m. on January 27th. Noble Street College Prep's defense has only allowed 27.8 points per game this season, so Baker's offense will have their work cut out for them.
