The China Spring Cougars lost against the Robinson Rockets back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. China Spring took a 36-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockets. China Spring has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Trevor Stephens continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Robinson, scoring 11 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Moreno, who scored six points along with three steals.
China Spring has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-18 record this season. As for Robinson, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-16.
China Spring will head out on the road to take on the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Salado is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Robinson, they will be playing at home against the Cadets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Connally is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.
