The Richton Rebels will head out on the road to  challenge  the Hattiesburg Tigers at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  the two teams posted some lofty  run totals in their previous games.
 Last Thursday, while Richton put up plenty of  runs, the same  can't be said for Collins. Richton blew past Collins 15-0. The  win was just what Richton needed coming off of  a  13-0 loss in their prior  match.
 Meanwhile, Hattiesburg gave up the first  runs on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them  down. They put the hurt on Perry Central with a sharp  12-2 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Hattiesburg.
  Chloee Parhm was a major factor no matter where she played. She  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Parhm has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Parhm was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with a  home run, two  runs,  and a  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  KeKe Trotter and  Cornique Mark did most of the damage at the plate:  Trotter  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, a  triple,  and a  stolen base, while  Mark  went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and a  triple. Trotter is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Camiya Craft, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 The  win  got Richton back to even at 5-5. As for Hattiesburg, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7.
 Everything went Richton's way against Hattiesburg in their previous matchup  back in March of 2016 as Richton made off with  a  10-0 win. Does  Richton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hattiesburg turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
