After losing to Winston County the last time they met, Haleyville decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Haleyville Lions simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Winston County Yellowjackets 54-27. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 27 points or more this season.
Despite the loss, Winston County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Maci Blevins posted two points and seven boards. Those seven rebounds gave Blevins a new career-high.
