Ocala Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lainie Culver, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Culver also put up a double, which was her first of the season.
Meanwhile, everything went Peniel Baptist Academy's way against Trinity Christian Academy on Tuesday as Peniel Baptist Academy made off with a 14-4 win. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by ten runs or more this season.
Alexis Peacock made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
In other batting news, Traelyn Baker was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and one RBI. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in triples. Another player making a difference was Allison Peacock, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Peniel Baptist Academy hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in four consecutive matches.
Ocala Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Peniel Baptist Academy, their record is now 6-1.
