Madison struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Brandeis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Finley Montoya, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Trevor Short, who scored 11 points.
Madison has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 20-11 record this season. As for Brandeis, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-13.
Madison will be playing in front of their home fans against Clark at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Brandeis, they will head out on the road to challenge Johnson at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Johnson has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 322 points over their last five matches.
