North Duplin is 0-10 against James Kenan since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The North Duplin Rebels will head out on the road to face off against the James Kenan Tigers at 7:30  p.m. North Duplin is hoping to put an end to  a five-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
 Last Friday, North Duplin took their  match at home  with ease, bagging a  63-35 win over Bear Grass Charter. The  win was just what North Duplin needed coming off of a  82-60 loss in their prior  contest.
 North Duplin found their leader in underclassman  Treshawn Ruffin, who  dropped  a double-double on 19 points and ten  rebounds. Ruffin set a new season high mark in points with 19.  Micah Lesesane was another key contributor,  scoring ten points along with nine  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, James Kenan pushed their score all the way to 58 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Southern Wayne by a score of  60-58.
 The  victory  got North Duplin back to even at 2-2. As for James Kenan, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
 North Duplin was dealt a bruising  76-35 loss at the hands of James Kenan when the teams last played  back in December of 2022. The  contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point North Duplin was down  42-18.
