Sheets Memorial Christian extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 5-7. They lost 17-4 to the Lee Park Prep Knights. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 7-1 to the Knights when the teams met back in May of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Zach Damba made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Jacob Kennedy, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
As for Lee Park Prep, their record now sits at 7-4. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won six matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
On Lee Park Prep's side, Henry Chance looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Chance also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Knights are 5-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 2-3 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Lee Park Prep got a massive performance out of James Steele, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those three runs gave Steele a new career-high. Aiden Arant was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Looking ahead, Sheets Memorial Christian will welcome Alexander Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Crusaders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.8 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lee Park Prep, they will head out to face off against Union Prep Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Polar Bears have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season.
