Steele set a new season high mark in blocks with four. Another player making a difference was Kristen Tracy, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Worth County bumped their record down to 0-10 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Gilman City, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season.
Worth County will look to defend their home court on Friday against Stanberry at 6:00 p.m. Stanberry has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Gilman City, they will head out on the road to face off against North Harrison at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: North Harrison has struggled recently with nine losses in a row, while Gilman City will arrive with three straight wins.
