Northern Lebanon will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Eastern Lebanon County at 4:15 p.m. Northern Lebanon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
Northern Lebanon made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Cocalico, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Northern Lebanon was the clear victor by a 13-2 margin over Cocalico on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Brian Bicksler made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Northern Lebanon got a massive performance out of Adrian Gonzalez, who scored three runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Those three runs gave Gonzalez a new career-high. Connor Stoltz was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
Northern Lebanon kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cocalico only managed five hits.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eastern Lebanon County). They came out on top against Annville-Cleona by a score of 9-5 on Monday.
The team relied heavily on Gavin Bicher, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5. Those runs were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Braden Gettle, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Northern Lebanon's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Eastern Lebanon County, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Eastern Lebanon County's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Northern Lebanon hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .316. It's a different story for Eastern Lebanon County, though, as they've only averaged .220. Will they be able to contain Northern Lebanon's hitters?
Northern Lebanon took their victory against Eastern Lebanon County in their previous matchup back in April of 2022 by a conclusive 14-4. Will Northern Lebanon repeat their success, or does Eastern Lebanon County has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
