Southview came tearing into Friday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.4 points), and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 70-39 win over the Woodward Polar Bears. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.

Southview's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points over those games. As for Woodward, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.
