The South Plantation Paladins's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Blanche Ely Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on February 15th. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Plantation can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 64-63 to the Jaguars. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite their loss, South Plantation saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Kaiden Francis, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and six steals, was perhaps the best of all. Dwight Stephens was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Meanwhile, Blanche Ely came up short against Dwyer on Saturday and fell 58-45.
South Plantation's defeat dropped their record down to 24-5. As for Blanche Ely, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.
