This season hasn't been kind to The Midway Chargers, who are still winless after their ninth matchup. They had to suffer through a rough 66-6 loss at the hands of Dewar. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Midway's defeat was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-9. Sadly, the team can't blame their woes on tough opposition, as that stretch included 2-8 Depew and 2-6 Gans (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 44.6% over those games). As for Dewar, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midway will face off against Porum at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oklahoma (Porum is ranked 73rd, while Midway is ranked 86th). As for Dewar, they will head out on the road to face off against Caddo at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Caddo will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
