The Boiling Springs Bubblers will face off against the West Perry Mustangs at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
As a matter of fact, Boiling Springs put up the most runs they have all season on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 26-2 margin over Susquehanna Township. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Bubblers with their most commanding win of the season.

Evelyn Wiedenmayer made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was even better at the plate, going 4-for-5 with two triples, three runs, and three RBI. Those triples were her first of the season.
In other batting news, Boiling Springs got a massive performance out of Nina Dugonjic, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave Dugonjic a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Fry, who went 4-for-5 with four runs, four RBI, and two doubles.
Boiling Springs always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .659. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Susquehanna Township only posted an OBP of .353.
Meanwhile, West Perry came up short against Mifflin County on Thursday and fell 16-11. The Mustangs have struggled against the Huskies recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Addi Lupfer made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Rylann Kelly, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
West Perry's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Boiling Springs, their win bumped their record up to 5-10.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Boiling Springs hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.7 home runs per game. However, it's not like West Perry struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
