Jonesboro's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Little Rock Southwest Gryphons 19-9. The result was nothing new for the Hurricane, who have now won three games by ten runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Braylynn Calloway, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Green, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5.

Jonesboro's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-6. As for Little Rock Southwest, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

Coming up, Jonesboro will venture away from home to take on Batesville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Little Rock Southwest, they will challenge Bryant at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
