Tracy is on a ten-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Kimball is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Tracy Bulldogs will face off against the Kimball Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tracy's pitching crew has only allowed 1.5 runs per game this season, so Kimball's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Last Tuesday, Tracy beat Monterey Trail 4-1.
Hayden Fell made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up a single earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other pitching news, Tracy got a great performance from Elisa Galli as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. With that strong performance, Galli is now averaging an impressive 5.4 strikeouts per game.
Fell wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Munoz, who went 2-for-3 with one triple. That triple was Munoz's first of the season. Ava Crivello was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
Meanwhile, everything went Kimball's way against Riverbank on Monday as Kimball made off with a 10-2 win. That eight run margin sets a new team best for the Jaguars this season.
Giselle Mallamo spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on six hits and racked up eight Ks. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Saige Dodds, who scored three runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Karaliya DePerio, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Kimball was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .343 or higher in four consecutive matchups.
Tracy's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Kimball, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Tracy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .324. However, it's not like Kimball struggles in that department as they've averaged .344. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Tracy skirted past Kimball 3-1 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Will Tracy repeat their success, or does Kimball have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
