The Linn County Mustangs will head out on the road to square off against the Madison Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 14 consecutive losses for Linn County and four for Madison.
Last Tuesday, Linn County was beaten by Green City 99-23. Linn County was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 55-8.
Meanwhile, Madison had to suffer through a rough 78-8 loss at the hands of Prairie Home.
Linn County dropped their record down to 0-14 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Madison, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost 12 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.
