The team relied heavily on Maura Haesler, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with seven stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those seven stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aimee Ord, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Cox came out on top against Bayside on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Falcons won by a run and slipped past the Marlins 5-4. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Marlins: they've now won four in a row.
Cox let Lyric Alfier and Alexa Colon run wild. Alfier went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run, while Colon went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
First Colonial is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Cox, their record now sits at 9-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. First Colonial has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Cox struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
